Coastal Military Appreciation Day

-3 lined up almost two dozen bikes outside Coastal Carolina University’s (CCU) Brooks Stadium in Conway to the sound of practicing cheerleaders cheering, college bands playing, football teams practicing, and the CCU announcer’s booming voice. This was the way that CCU hosted and showed not just -3, but the whole Myrtle Beach Veteran Community how much they appreciate the dedication, loyalty, comradery, and sacrifice of Veterans everywhere….but ESPECIALLY in the Myrtle Beach area/Horry County. We lined up our bikes in the hash marks (EXCEPT for MOOSE) and greeted the home team CCU to LOUD, ROARING, and racing engines, mixed with the “CCU fog”, as they ran through the tunnel and onto the field. Despite the coldness, we were energetic and optimistic for CCU to beat Troy University; alas it was not to be !!! CCU lost 42 to 17, with CCU not scoring a point after the third quarter. See You Next Year Chanticleers on Veteran’s Day 2018—Best of Luck in your season!
